Well today was a perdy boring day. Because it was so nice out, we had the door open all day, so Howard and I just sat at the back door for a good hour. He's so cute when he gets all curious about stuff! Since he's a farm kitty, I think he'll always have a thing for being outside... Which is funny because when I actually bring him outside, he freaks out, but he'll stare through the windows looking outside for hours. It's so cute!
In other news, I started work at Victoria's Secret on Monday, so I'm really excited about that. Although I'm just part time, so I might get another job on top of it. I was kinda scared to leave alone though 'cuz the girl from Bismarck, ND that was kidnapped a few months ago worked at a Victoria's Secret and was just leaving work at night when she got kidnapped. But I guess she said that the mall security people are always around Victoria's when we close and go home for the day, so I'm safe working there. But for a second there when she was telling me this I was thinking, 'Okay... Can I put in my 2 weeks now?' But it turned out okay. The funniest part was that before I went, Rob joked to me about bringing home some of my training videos which feature clips of models wearing bras n stuff, and while I was leaving, she told me I could bring the training videos home with me. I just smiled and was like 'I won't tonight, but thanks.' ...What do you say to that anyway? First day on the job and she's asking if I want to bring home videos of some barely clothed girls? Just smile and nod I guess.
So anyway, yesterday I went up to Brookings to visit Rob and we had a really fun time. Rob made really really good steak. I ate it all. Hehe :) We also watched "Cast Away" 'cuz neither of us had seen it before, and it was really good. After it got done Rob was like, "Are you sure you still want me to be a pilot?" But to tell you the truth, I don't really want to see Rob doing anything else. He has a passion for flying and I just wouldn't like to see him doing anything else. So anyway, we talked til like 3:30 and I left for home. On the way home it was foggy and since there was no wind, the fog was still all cloud-looking and it was actually kinda creepy. It was the coolest scary thing I'd ever seen! Seriously!
So today came and I haven't really done anything yet. I've had a lazy day. My manager/boss/thing is supposed to call me and let me know when the next time I work is, so maybe I'll call in a bit and just ask her since she hasn't called yet and it's now going on 7pm. Tomorrow Rob and I leave to go to Pierre for a high school Confirmation retreat that we're helping out with. I'm pretty excited, though I don't really know what to expect because I've never been to a Confirmation retreat thing... I went to Steubenville for my Confirmation retreat, but it wasn't an actual Confirmation retreat. Oh well, I'm open to anything.
And I think I'm out of things to say. I'll just stop talking now before I really bore you people :)
