Family: 3 sisters: Angela (21), Breanna (17), and Carolyn (15)... I also have 3 kitties: Princess (9), Tigger (3), and Howard (5 mos)... And I can't forget the 9 fish: They were born from my (now flushed) baby fish named Goldie in August, Carolyn named them, but the only one whose name I remember right now is Spot... I'm a bad grand-mommy!
Occupation: Student... well, not currently, but I'm going back to school in the fall! :)
Education: Roosevelt High School 1998-2002, Dakota State University 2002-2003, USDSU 2004-
Future Goals/Plans: After 3 semesters at DSU, I realized computers aren't my thing... or at least I don't want to get paid to sit at one all day being bored off my butt. The medical field has always been something that's interested me, but I never really thought about a career in the medical field until recently, and I'm surprised I never thought of it before since my mom's a nurse. Either way, nursing really appeals to me, so I'm going back to school in the fall to get my RN degree through USD at USDSU. After that, I plan on getting a new car my first year out of school, getting married sometime before I'm 30, and living wherever God takes me I guess.
Summary: If I had to describe my life in a word, it would be unpredictable. If I had to use an analogy, it would be a roller coaster. My life right now is awesome, I'm really diggin' my life's chili (hehe) and I'm open to whatever God wants of me.
Favorite Music: Jeff Deyo, Newsboys, Ten Shekel Shirt, Switchfoot, Jeremy Camp, Angel Dean... I'd say any Christian music or Praise & Worship... other than that, I like Cake, John Mayer, Journey, Dashboard Confessional, TMBG, Cranberries, Green Day, The Eels... random stuff I guess :)
Favorite Movies: There's so many... I love movies! But here's some of my favorites in no particular order: American Beauty, Fight Club, Win A Date With Tad Hamilton!, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, Jackass The Movie, What Dreams May Come, Rat Race, all the LOTR movies, Pirates Of The Carribean, Dumb And Dumber, Dumb And Dumberer, Bruce Almighty, The Usual Suspects, the Harry Potter movies, The Passion ... I have a ton of favorite movies
Favorite Quote: Well, my favorite serious quote is "God doesn't call the qualified, but qualifies the called." ... As far as funny quotes go, I couldn't name just one... I kinda associate a funny quote with all of my friends/family, so I'll just list those I guess.
My dad: "What is the MATTER with ME!?!" - quoted after spilling some milk
My mom: "Damn those ducks!" - quoted ... well, she'd kill me if I told you hehe
Breanna: "Dear God, I thank you for music and Japan..." - quoted in the chapel during prayer time... the funniest sincere prayer I've ever heard :)
Carolyn: "DUDE! Just go DO SOMETHING!" - quoted by Carolyn while talking to me in her sleep hehe
Rob: "A loser who likes to kiss you!" - quoted after we raced to his car and I won and called him a loser... there are so many funny Rob quotes, it was hard to pick one!
Stacy: "Where is my pop?!" - quoted while looking underneath her lunch tray... as if a 20 oz pop bottle can magically disappear under a 1/4" thick plastic lunch tray.
Dan: "Yer a van!" - yelled at someone driving a Eurovan (get it? Eur-o-van... Eur-a-van... Yer-a-van... hehe) ... Ugh, Dan, you're a dork. But in a good way?
Sean: "Your hair... it's everywhere... screaming infidelities and taking it's where!" - quoted while we were driving in his convertable listening to "Screaming Infidelities"
